Modernizing A Traditional Brand

DSCPA is a successful CPA agency strictly-focused on financial back office operations for Domino's franchises. With more than ~20 years in the business, they were looking for a total digital re-vamp. Our work with the the DSCPA founding team ranged from a branding overhaul to a website re-design & implementation.

Below are a few deliverables made on our ~2.5 year journey.

Competitor & Inspiration Analysis

We usually begin our process by asking a few key questions, among these are: "what's the industry standard?" & "what do they have in common?"

By learning what's working for powerful CPA firms with a strong digital presence, we were able to extrapolate a standard for DSCPA. Additionally, we were able to pinpoint weaknesses with existing competitors, leading us delightful opportunity gaps.

UX Wireframe

Once we have a grounded understanding of all business requirements, we map them out through UX Wireframes. The main point of this exercise is to triple-check all possible edge-cases & user paths; with every view & overlay planned out, we now know exactly how many designs are required.

Greyscale Mockups

With our UX Wireframes finished, we have an inventory of exactly every view, overlay & state needed.

In order to first focus in on an intuitive UX & information hierarchy, we move on to greyscale mockups.

Branding & UI Kit

No brand is complete without a unifying set of branding & UI elements. With all greyscale mock ups now finished, it's time to make them stand out with a cohesive set of elements.
